BASIC

The Basic weave is the foundation of all triaxial fabric designs. With its locked intersections and balanced yarn count Basic provides high in-plane shear resistance and high tear strength. The shear resistance allows for very stable hole configuration. With a 33% porosity, this translate to very good strike-through during lamination.

Currently this construction is in production supplying the flexible composite industry with KevlarŪ 29 material.
